MAISON DE TET DÉCOR

Maison de Tet Décor is my favourite organic restaurant and one a very few that I have discovered since living in Hanoi. The restaurant offers a great selection of snacks, meals, cakes, coffee and drinks that are prepared from scratch and do not contain industrial processed foods or MSG.  The menu also includes a range of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as specialities cooked in a clay pot and bun cha, as well as vegan and gluten free options and uses fresh local ingredients, many of which are free range and organic. Most of their fresh produce comes from the restaurant’s own organic farm “Fragrant Path” in Dai Lai, Soc Son. For more information about Maison de Tet Décor, go to: https://maisondetetdecor.com/

Fragrant Path is located in a tranquil wooded valley near Dai Lai lake, about 45 minutes from Hanoi.  The various farm buildings were renovated over ten years with the aim to revive traditional Vietnamese artwork and craftsmanship. So with the help of ethnic minority craftsmen many of the buildings were renovated; the Tea House is the oldest, built originally 185 years ago, and the stilt house was painstakingly relocated from northern Vietnam and reconstructed to maintain its original charm, now situated overlooking the fish ponds and organic vegetable gardens.
